The beautiful two story Ozark Regal Hotel was built in 1993 by the present owner and is frame construction with a brick exterior. It is situated on 2 acres of land in a very choice location on Green Mountain Drive. The Ozark Regal Hotel is maintained in excellent condition and features an elevator, an attractively furnished and comfortable lobby and breakfast room and large heated outdoor pool and sunbathing area. The breakfast room also serves as a meeting room and will accommodate 70 guests.

The Ozark Regal Hotel has interior corridors and all of the rooms and hallways have new carpeting that was installed within the last two years. The phone system is a Mitel SX 200 with call accounting and the room phones have data ports for the internet. The rooms have GE 19” TVs and are heated and cooled by GE Zoneline heat pumps with electric strip heaters.

There are four Scotsman Ice machines for guests use. The motel laundry is roomy with two 50 pound Unimac commercial washing machines and two Huebsch 75 pound commercial dryers. In addition there is a guest laundry with equipment owned and service by others. The Ozark Regal Hotel receives 60 percent of the guest laundry revenue.

The Ozark Regal Hotel closes December 15 through March 1st but a new owner may want to stay open 12 months per year in the future because of the new attractions now under construction that will turn Branson into a year around destination for vacationers, tourist and conventioneers.

It is believed that the room revenue could be approximately $800,000 in 2007 and more than $1,000,000 in 2008 because of the impact Branson Landing, the Branson Convention Center, RFD-TV Theater and Sight & Sound Theatre will have on Branson’s city wide Hotel and Motel Occupancies, ADR and RevPar.

The Branson Convention Center will be managed and operated by Hilton Hotels who operates and manages over 30 convention centers throughout the United States.

Projections indicate that more than 150,000 people will attend conventions in Branson the first full year the convention center is in operation. It is believed that these attendees will stay an average of 2.5 days while in Branson. This equates to over 250,000 additional room nights for the lodging industry in Branson if an average of 1.5 people occupy each room while staying in Branson.
